Stress is the force we apply on our tissues in order to keep them strong. This is not emotional stress, but mechanical load and challenge. In yoga we combine slow movement with breath-work and meditation making it a nourishing practice for both body & mind.

Discover how you can breathe yourself into a healthier, calmer and happier life!

Friday, September 19th 6.30-8.30pm

Our state of being gives rise to the rhythm of our breath, and in turn our breath shapes our state of being. Our state of being influences our reactions. So through the breath we have the power to influence our inner state and how we respond to life.

In this workshop you will learn breathing techniques that can be easily integrated into your daily life, helping you reduce stress in just a couple of minutes. The breathwork is complemented by deeply relaxing yin yoga poses and concludes a long final relaxation, ensuring you leave the workshop with a peaceful state of mind. You’ll also gain the tools and confidence to breathe your way into a calmer, healthier, and happier life.

NEW: Breath-work Training - September

Poor breathing makes us tired, stressed, anxious and is often at the root of many physical, emotional and mental health problems. It is usually developed unconsciously over time as a result of for example prolonged stress, excessive workload, grief, an operation.

The good news is that it can be fixed!

In this training you will become aware of functional and dysfunctional breathing patterns, you will learn specific breathing exercises to help you to breathe more efficiently. With yoga we will relax and strengthen the breathing muscles. And soon you will sleep better, have more energy and focus and improve your performance and overall health and wellbeing.

The body is representing the mind. It shows us how we feel, what has been suppressed or denied and the emotions that we were not able to process.

When that causes stagnation or constriction in the flow of energy, the body becomes vulnerable for injuries and disease.

In this workshop you get an understanding of what your body is trying to tell you. We will target the deeper layers of the body to give stress and emotions the opportunity to move again. So you can begin to release the load you are maybe carrying within you and if you’re ready letting it go with compassion.

Every cause gives rise to a result, and every result becomes a new cause. Understanding this makes you more conscious of your thoughts and actions and the results you are planting right now.
