🌍 KOAZ Annual Ceremony 2025
Today, the KOICA Alumni Association of Azerbaijan (KOAZ), together with the KOICA Office in Azerbaijan, successfully hosted the KOAZ Annual Ceremony 2025 in Baku! 🎉
The event was opened by H.E. Mr. Kang Kymgu, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan, and Mrs. Hwang Sulim, Country Director of the KOICA Azerbaijan Office, who both expressed deep appreciation to partners and alumni for strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Korea and Azerbaijan.
This year’s ceremony showcased inspiring alumni-led initiatives implemented under the Share Your CIAT and KOAZ Social Contribution frameworks — turning knowledge into action for a better future:
💡 Health Insurance Awareness for Medical Students in Azerbaijan- led by Ms. Nisa Aliyeva and her team (Mr. Vusal Mammamzadeh and Mr. Vahid Aliyev), strengthening understanding of the national MHI system among future doctors.
🤖 Future Skills 4.0: Building University Capacity for the Industry of Tomorrow — presented by Ms. Gulmina Malikzade, developing frameworks to integrate Industry 4.0 competencies into higher education.
🧒💻 ChildCyberCare: Enhancing Digital Literacy and Online Safety for Vulnerable Children — led by Ms. Arzu Abdullayeva and her team (Ms. Lala Karimova, Ms. Nigar Hasanzade, Ms. Aysel Ibrahimli) empowering children with knowledge to stay safe in the digital world.

Capacity Building for Public Procurement Officials on E-Procurement in the Commonwealth of Independent States

KOICA conducted an orientation program for the “Capacity Building for Public Procurement Officials on E-Procurement in the Commonwealth of Independent States.”

This program marks the final training of 2025, bringing together participants from various CIS countries and representatives from Azerbaijan to enhance knowledge and share experiences in the field of public procurement and digital transformation.

With this program, KOICA concludes its 2025 training series, continuing its commitment to fostering innovation and capacity development across partner countries. 🌍✨

MDB Ölkələrinin Dövlət Satınalmaları üzrə Məsul Şəxsləri üçün Elektron Satınalmalar üzrə Potensialın Gücləndirilməsi Təlim Proqramı

KOICA tərəfindən “MDB ölkələrinin dövlət satınalmaları üzrə məsul şəxsləri üçün elektron satınalmalar üzrə potensialın gücləndirilməsi” adlı təlim proqramının ori̇yentasiya sessiyası keçirilib.

Bu proqram 2025-ci ilin son təlimi olaraq, müxtəlif MDB ölkələrindən və Azərbaycandan olan nümayəndələri bir araya gətirərək dövlət satınalmaları və rəqəmsal transformasiya sahəsində bilik və təcrübə mübadiləsinə şərait yaradıb.

Bu proqramla KOICA 2025-ci il üzrə təlimlərini yekunlaşdıraraq tərəfdaş ölkələrdə innovasiya və potensialın gücləndirilməsinə dəstəyini davam etdirir. 🌍✨

💻✈️ Pre-Departure Orientation for E-Governance Capacity Building Training 🌍✨

KOICA organized a pre-departure orientation for participants of the “Capacity Building for E-Governance on the State Registration System in Central Asia” training program. 🌐💡

Participants from several Central Asian countries, together with representatives from Azerbaijan, will soon travel to Korea to take part in this regional training initiative. The program aims to enhance professional capacity in digital transformation, e-governance, and the improvement of state registration systems.

During the orientation, participants were introduced to the objectives of the training, the upcoming activities in Korea, and KOICA’s vision of promoting regional cooperation and knowledge exchange.

We wish all participants a successful and inspiring training in Korea and look forward to the positive outcomes this collaboration will bring to the region’s digital governance development. 💙

💻✈️ Elektron İdarəetmə üzrə Potensialın Artırılması Təlimi üçün Oriyentasiya Sessiyası 🌍✨

KOICA tərəfindən “Mərkəzi Asiyada Dövlət Qeydiyyat Sistemi üzrə Elektron İdarəetmənin Gücləndirilməsi” təlim proqramının iştirakçıları üçün yola düşməzdən öncə oriyentasiya sessiyası təşkil olundu. 🌐💡

Mərkəzi Asiyanın müxtəlif ölkələrindən olan nümayəndələr, həmçinin Azərbaycanın təmsilçiləri bu regional təlim proqramında iştirak etmək üçün yaxın günlərdə Koreyaya yola düşəcəklər. Proqramın məqsədi rəqəmsal transformasiya, elektron idarəetmə və dövlət qeydiyyat sistemlərinin təkmilləşdirilməsi sahəsində bilik və bacarıqları artırmaqdır.

Sessiya zamanı iştirakçılar təlimin məqsədləri, Koreyada keçiriləcək fəaliyyətlər və KOICA-nın regional əməkdaşlığı və bilik mübadiləsini təşviq edən missiyası barədə məlumatlandırıldılar.

🌾✈️ Orientation for the Smart Farm Capacity Building Training 🌍✨

KOICA held an orientation session for participants of the “Capacity Building for Smart Farm Agriculture Experts in Azerbaijan” training program. 🌱💡

The program aims to enhance participants’ understanding of innovative smart farming technologies and sustainable agricultural practices. During the orientation, participants were briefed on the training’s objectives, upcoming activities in Korea, and ways to apply the acquired knowledge to strengthen Azerbaijan’s agricultural development.

Oriyentasiya zamanı iştirakçılara təlimin məqsədləri, Koreyada keçiriləcək fəaliyyətlər və əldə ediləcək biliklərin Azərbaycanın kənd təsərrüfatı sektorunun inkişafına tətbiqi barədə məlumat verildi.

🌍✈️ Təlimə Yola Düşmədən Əvvəl Oriyentasiya Proqramı ✨

KOAZ tərəfindən “Azərbaycanda Tibbi Müəssisələrin Sığorta Siyasətləri üzrə Potensialının Gücləndirilməsi” adlı təlimin iştirakçıları üçün yola düşməzdən əvvəl oriyentasiya proqramı təşkil olundu. 🏥💡

TƏBİB və İcbari Tibbi Sığorta üzrə Dövlət Agentliyi (İTSDA) nümayəndələri yaxın günlərdə bu vacib təlimdə iştirak etmək üçün Koreyaya səfər edəcəklər. Oriyentasiya proqramı iştirakçıları təlimin məqsədləri ilə tanış etmək, onları qarşıdakı təcrübəyə hazırlamaq və KOAZ-ın bilik mübadiləsi və əməkdaşlıq missiyasına daha da yaxınlaşdırmaq məqsədi daşıyırdı.

İştirakçılarımıza Koreyada uğurlu təlim arzulayırıq və onların əldə etdikləri biliklərin Azərbaycanda səhiyyə sisteminə töhfə verəcəyinə inanırıq. 💙

Under the KOAZ-initiated ChildCyberCare (CCC) project — supported by KOICA and carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan (MDDT) — a series of educational workshops have been organized for children in need of digital protection.

Two workshops have already been successfully held — one at SOS Children’s Village, and another at the Republican Special Boarding School No. 3. Both sessions were conducted by the dedicated team from the Ministry: Ms. Arzu Abdullayeva (Team Leader), Mrs. Lala Karimova, Mrs. Nigar Hasanzada, and Mrs. Aysel Ibrahimli.

During the workshops, children explored essential topics such as online privacy and personal data protection, safe internet and social media use, cyber hygiene practices, and ways to develop basic digital skills. The sessions were highly interactive, with children actively participating in discussions and Q&A sessions. At the end, each participant was awarded a certificate and a small gift in recognition of their engagement and enthusiasm.

The ChildCyberCare project reflects KOAZ’s commitment to promoting digital inclusion and safety — ensuring that all children have the tools and knowledge to navigate today’s online world with confidence.

🌐 KOICA Azerbaijan is proud to support the launch of the “Future Skills 4.0: Building University Capacity for the Industry of the Future” initiative — a collaborative effort with the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM), Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMIU), and the KOICA Alumni Association (KOAZ).

With KOICA’s financial support, this project aims to align university curricula with the demands of Industry 4.0 — helping to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical skills required in today’s evolving job market.

At the event, KOICA CIAT alumna and project lead Ms. Gulmina Malikzada introduced a practical Training Guidebook designed to support this transformation. The launch brought together participants from academia, industry, and international organizations to explore ways to strengthen university-industry linkages and better prepare students for the future.

🌐 KOICA Azərbaycan “Gələcək Bacarıqlar 4.0: Gələcəyin Sənayesi üçün Universitetlərin Potensialının Qurulması” təşəbbüsünün təqdimatını dəstəkləməkdən qürur duyur! Bu layihə Dördüncü Sənaye İnqilabının Təhlili və Koordinasiya Mərkəzi (4SIM), Azərbaycan Memarlıq və İnşaat Universiteti (AzMİU) və KOICA Məzunlar Assosiasiyası (KOAZ) ilə birgə əməkdaşlıq çərçivəsində həyata keçirilir.

Tədbir zamanı KOICA CIAT məzunu və layihənin rəhbəri Gülmina Məlikzadə bu dəyişikliyə dəstək məqsədilə hazırlanmış Təlimat Kitabçasını təqdim etdi. Tədbirdə akademiya, sənaye və beynəlxalq təşkilat nümayəndələri bir araya gələrək universitet-sənaye əməkdaşlığının gücləndirilməsi və tələbələrin gələcək üçün daha yaxşı hazırlanması yollarını müzakirə etdilər.
