SAMED - International Medical Students Congress Sarajevo 8th SaMED will be held in September, 19-22 in Sarajevo SaMED 2024 will be held in Sarajevo from 19th to 22nd September.

SaMED is a creation of a union of enthusiastic, empowered and hard-working young people who are ready to change the medical future, but also brave enough to start from their own community. Even though the story of SaMED has started as a dream of bosnian and herzegovinian medical students, this international event has shown that a vast number of young researchers around the globe can gather in one

place and invest their best resources in order to create a trace that will lead the Love of Humanity. Due to our well-known tradition of keeping high standards and due to our regular contributions to expanding the large international medical network, it is our greatest pleasure to invite you to SaMED 2024! SaMED 2024 is coming again with its 8th edition and represents an official collaboration of the Association of Students of the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo (ASMF Sarajevo) as main organizer and our main partner Bosnian and Herzegovinian Medical Students’ Association (BoHeMSA). We would like to take you through our magical inspirational environment, which is specially designed to awaken your scientific strengths, empower your influence and bring amazing people to your path. SaMED 2026 reveals its theme:
“From the Womb to the World” — a journey through perinatology, exploring the space between what is hidden and what is seen, between the first impulse and the first encounter with the world.

From what is only forming to what is born into view, we explore medicine at its most delicate, precise, and profound.

U medicini, to je trenutak kada se novi život pojavljuje na granici dva svijeta — tih, precizan, ali presudan.
SaMED 2026 sada ulazi u svoj vlastiti početak.
Otvaramo konkurs za predsjednike i koordinatore timova, a upravo je ova faza ono što određuje stabilnost, a znamo da se najraniji koraci prate s najvećom pažnjom.
Ako znaš prepoznati važnost dobro postavljenih temelja, ako te privlači rad u fazi gdje se formira struktura, ritam i budući uspjeh cijelog kongresa — onda si na pravom mjestu.

We also went behind the scenes with SaMED Talks 2024 podcast, capturing raw insights and genuine voices that shaped our congress spirit. 🎧 Adding to that, our partners enriched the event through engaging sessions, like the sponsored lecture by Alkaloid, proving once more how vital sponsor support is for making a congress thrive. 🙌
