Growing up Danielle was always involved in some form of extracurricular activity swimming, dancing, volleyball, etc but somehow never took well to stretching/strengthening exercises. Yoga became much more than just stretching or about the poses; it turned out to be the tool for her to create more balance, focus, self awareness and patience. She believes the student who can magically

drop into a split has just as much to learn as the student who can’t touch their toes. As she teaches she seeks to help her students to nurture their body and mind. Some see yoga as this serious practice and granted it is, but it is also a source of joy. So her aim when you come to your mat is to be more open to learning about self, accepting of challenges and also to have fun while practicing.

This is a mat-based class, including:
• kneeling
• seated (on the floor)
• lying down
• standing
Best suited for those comfortable getting up and down from the floor.
