How We Started

Hi everyone! My name is Dr. Khatija Mangera and I am a family physician. I completed postgraduate studies in Family Medicine in 2018 and opened the Healthy Living Family Clinic in January 2020. I chose this name because in Barbados we have a high burden of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, which has many serious complications that we all see among family and friends. This includes heart attacks and strokes.

My hope is to help in chronic disease management and prevention, assisting persons to live a healthy life- physically, mentally and emotionally. I also provide other general practice care to ensure a healthy you :)
