Endometriosis is a disease in which cells like those in the endometrium, the layer of tissue that normally covers the inside of the uterus, grow outside the uterus. It occurs in humans and a limited number of menstruating mammals.
Symptoms:Ā Pelvic pain, menstrual bleeding:Ā Heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, or spotting or bleeding between periods, Bowel or bladder problems, Fatigue, Digestive issues, Mental health:Ā Depression, anxiety, or low mood. Chest pain or shortness of breath.

Diagnostic method:Ā Based on symptoms, medical imaging, tissue biopsy.
Medical Treatment:Ā NSAIDs, continuous birth control pills, intrauterine device with progestogen, surgery.
