Posted • pleased to announce our newest kane school offsite training center: body mekanix, founded + run by lana sealy in barbados, wi the the first training starting next month! read on to learn about lana and below 🥰

Lana is the founder of Body Mekanix Pilates Studio and a proud alumna of New World School of the Arts. A former dancer with the Merce Cunningham RUGroup, she also taught dance at the Errol Barrow Center at the University of the West Indies while transitioning into a dedicated career in movement education.

With more than 18 years of Pilates experience, Lana brings a deep passion for mindful movement, biomechanics, and bone health to her teaching. She is a certified Advanced Buff Bones® instructor, a trained yoga teacher, and a comprehensively certified Kane School Pilates teacher.

Most recently, she expanded her role within the Kane School community by becoming a Teacher Trainer and establishing Barbados as an official off-site training center for the Kane School in the Eastern Caribbean. Through her work, she continues to integrate movement principles into healthy, functional approaches that empower individuals to use their bodies with strength, awareness, and confidence.
