Dr Demitri Constantinou is a globally respected leader in Sport and Exercise Medicine with over two decades of academic, clinical, and research excellence.

He has played a pivotal role in shaping international sports medicine policy, including IOC athlete safety guidelines, and has contributed extensively to areas such as sports cardiology, exercise prescription, doping, injury prevention, and chronic disease management. Dr. Constantinou is a Fellow of the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS) and has helped establish landmark programmes, including Africa’s first FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence.
