It’s complicated, but not really! Joyful June begins today. Don’t make things complicated for yourself, any time but here too. There’s only one change right now so I shared the May schedule just for this week as I leave on 7th so will put the ‘June titled’ timetable up at the weekend.
• N.B Monday 8th no 8am class. The following Monday a 4 week mini series starts! A Fit flow via Ashtanga primary series.
• Join guest teacher Karen for that and most classes as I travel. Christina will still be here for Tuesday evening and 8am Fridays.
• While I’m away no gong and sounds bath but the Thursday Flow is still in motion!
• Saturday’s 13th & 27th book in for somatics and breath, stillness and healing with Kristen 11am-1pm.
• Remember to book for beach class and Fridays great Explore and Play

Wake up and move for vitality and joy. An action strength practice still with the authentic depth of yoga as we activate from the core through out. Build some fire and glow your radiant self. Culminate the practice with a breezy cool down and deep rest to assimilate the practice and restore.

Happy Mother’s Day! I started yoga with my mother, thank you for guiding me from early days to something that we never knew one day would become so much more of my life. Grateful that I too have the honour and all the love of being a mother.
Wishing you all a peaceful day of love, nurturing, connection and fond memories.

It’s about the subtle, the breath and exploring actions. I may have dropped deep into feeling my body and breathing but not just dropped to the earth. Watch at the start the top of the thigh bone back and the continued play to elevate and press back to maintain stability and not allow collapse. There is a continuous process and play with the lengthening of back and side body, creating space to move gradually in. Breathe in..up and open- breath out explore the heart opening staying very aware the subtle play. It takes practice and paying attention and knowledge of alignment actions. This is an old recording that I came across and thought I’d share as back bends are a big theme at the moment generally at the studio( and online).
✨I would suggest two blocks for the hands at the side rather than feeling it’s about getting to the floor. It’s more about the listening and using the breath to you feel your way in.
✨one may need one hand behind the head. Here I see I unusually allowed my head to go back far, it does help the shoulders open back but that’s not always safe for all. I was creating space first but still now I keep more length in the back of the neck/scull.
Happy exploration, and do join me at the studio not just to learn wise alignment but to enhance the deep body and inner self connection. Be safe, create stability and strength.

What seems like magical changes do happen! There is a relatively new to yoga student here who just can’t believe the changes felt and exclaimed at the end of class this week ‘I just can’t believe how magical this is’. Newness has been found and we know that this is just the start.
✨’May I find all that is already within me’ A good ‘may I’ affirmation. It’s quite fitting for the full moon start to the month( and we have another at the end of the month!) May I remember my fullness, may I let go of feeling small, may I value myself, may I move away from depletion… May I blossom fully, may I let go or worry. May I renew my mind….
I could go on, better still can you? Put some ‘may I’ hopes, dreams and desires in the comments. May I be well, may I be fit…
From the ‘I’ can we bring it to the ‘we’, can we bring it into the collective? Can our individual needs be expanded to many more, across the island 🇧🇧 communities and out into the ocean of consciousness. May I, yoga teacher Pamela help this expansion, may we be well, may we know love, may we uplift others, may we bring more smiles, may we respect nature…
What just jumps to your mind, put it down here, write it at home, say it over and over, a mantra of goodness to open the gateways to transformation.
This is my last full month before I travel in early June so I hope to see you and share inspiration, insights and all the strength and and mobility along with it. Time is flying fast, what are you doing? Where are you? Come join yoga, active or relaxing or both. Yes it’s possible.
