When we talk about cleaning our ears, some of us reach for a Q-tip, a hair pin or a match to clean the wax from our ears. All of these are unsafe objects that can scratch and puncture a hole in our Eardrum/Tympanic membrane. The best option would be to see your doctor or an Audiologist to have your ears cleaned.
