# Dr Ashik Mahmud was born in Luxmipur, Bhairab on 1st October 1984. He completed SSC on 2000 & HSC on 2002 from science faculty under Dhaka Board. On 2003 he got admitted in Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital and graduated for MBBS , July 2008. After 1 year internship he leaves Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital 2009 November.
# 2010 July he passed FCPS part 1 examination on General Surgery from Bangladesh college of physicians and surgeons(BCPS). Then he completed his 3 years residency post graduation training in surgery from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital and one year academic course from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2015. On 2017 January he passed FCPS final examination in General Surgery from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), Mohakhali.
# On February 2017 he joined as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in Brahmanbaria Medical College and Hospital. On 2018 he also took Two years advanced post fellowship training in Urology from Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital. Present now he is working as a a Associate Professor of surgery and practicing both General Surgery and Urology.
