Last week, we celebrated Dr. Seuss Week at Tender Care in Meadowlands. The children enjoyed showing off their crazy socks after reading Fox on Socks, and were ready for a nap after reading the Sleep Book. Check out those pj’s and sleep masks!

Our Whitehall teachers have been celebrating Read Across America Week, which began earlier this week on Dr. Seuss’s birthday. They’ve been sharing stories, sparking imagination, and helping our students fall in love with reading.

Our Green Tree school had an amazing visit from the National Aviary! The students explored South Africa's beaches in search of penguins, orcas, turtles, and more. After spotting the penguins on the beaches, they learned about the feathers on their bodies and their dietary habits.

Then, they had the opportunity to meet a real penguin named Ella. She waddled through the crowd and was placed on a table for everyone to see! The students learned all about the Aviary, including how Ella lives, penguins' behaviors, and their survival needs.
