Today, on International Mother Language Day, we honor the brave souls of 1952 who stood up for their mother tongue and made sure their voices would never be silenced.
Language is more than words, it carries our culture, our memories, and the way we connect with the world. In public health, we know that communication saves lives, builds trust, and empowers communities. Every language matters, and every voice deserves to be heard.
From all of us at the AUW Public Health Club, we wish you a heartfelt International Mother Language Day. Let’s celebrate our languages, protect them, and keep their stories alive. 🤍
