Dr. Alvin saha, born in Chattogram in 1968,
is a distinguished dermatologist and venereologist with a remarkable career spanning over two decades.
He received his MBBS degree from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College in 1993, demonstrating early on his commitment to medical excellence.
He obtained Diploma in Dermatology with excellent grade from institute of Dermatology Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health, Bangkok, Thailand in 2004.
Dr. Saha began his medical career in 1995 as a medical officer with the Leprosy Mission Bangladesh (TLM-B) in the Chattogram Project, quickly rising to the position of Medical Director.
Currently, he serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at BGC Trust Medical College
Additionally, he is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Christian Leprosy Hospital in Chandraghona, Rangamathi Hill District, which is the first leprosy hospital in Bangladesh.
Dr. Saha has an extensive record of national and international peer reviewed publications,
and he has served as peer reviewer for many national as well as international publications.
His comprehensive experience encompasses teaching, training, and consulting, earning him recognition as an excellent educator and consultant with a wealth of up-to-date knowledge.
Saha has treated over 30,000 leprosy patients in various settings, both national and Internationally.
