With deep sorrow and profound grief, we announce that the beloved Founder of SAHIC, Prof. M. Nurul Amin, breathed his last on May 4, 2025, at 10:10 PM.

His Namaaz-e-Janaza will be held at the SAHIC Premises, Dhaka, at 8:30 AM on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Following this, his remains will be taken by road towards Chandanaish at 9:30 AM, where a second Janaza will be held after Asr prayers, followed by burial.

We humbly request all concerned, including students, friends, and well-wishers, to attend the Janaza and keep him in your duas (prayers).

May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannah and accept his lifelong service to humanity. Ameen.

RF-IPSHIC, SAHIC Dhaka (www.sahic.org) এর একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান যা শ্রবণ ও ভাষা প্রতিবন্ধী শিশুদের সহায়তায় কাজ করে, সম্প্রতি ভাষা বিলম্বিত শিশুদের জন্য চালু করেছে ডার্ক রুম থেরাপি কার্যক্রম।
ডার্ক রুম বা হালকা আলো-নিয়ন্ত্রিত এই বিশেষ পরিবেশে শিশুদের জন্য এমন এক নিরাপদ ও শান্ত পরিবেশ তৈরি করা হয়, যা ভাষা বিকাশে ইতিবাচক ভূমিকা রাখে।

ডার্ক রুম কার্যক্রমের মূল উপকারিতাসমূহ:
• মনোযোগ বৃদ্ধি পায়: উজ্জ্বলতা ও শব্দ কম থাকায় শিশু সহজে ফোকাস করতে পারে।
• ভয়ের মাত্রা কমে: নিয়ন্ত্রিত পরিবেশ শিশুকে নিরাপত্তা দেয়, ফলে তারা খোলামেলা আচরণ করে।
• শব্দ অনুকরণে উৎসাহিত হয়: থেরাপিস্টের নির্দেশনায় শিশুরা শব্দ বা শব্দাংশ উচ্চারণের চেষ্টা করে।
• ইন্দ্রিয় বিকাশে সহায়ক: আলো, শব্দ ও স্পর্শের মাধ্যমে শিশুর ইন্দ্রিয় সাড়া বাড়ে।
• যোগাযোগ দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধি পায়: শিশুরা ধীরে ধীরে চোখের দিকে তাকিয়ে সাড়া দিতে শেখে, যা ভাষা বিকাশের পূর্ব শর্ত।
• আলো ও শব্দ তরঙ্গের দ্বৈত প্রক্রিয়ায় নিউরো ডেভেলাপমেন্টাল শিশুদের মস্তিষ্ককে রিলাক্স করার চেষ্টা করা হয়। যাতে সে নির্দিষ্ট কাজে ফোকাস করতে শেখে।
