Dr. Md. Jahangir Kabir obtained his medical graduation in the year of 1983, Following the basic surgical training in different medical college hospital he obtained surgical fellowship, from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Royal college of Physician and surgeons of Glasgow, UK. Subsequently he obtained substantial training in urology from both home and aboard. He worked as a urological trainee at the BSMMU, Dhaka, Bangladesh (formerly IPGMR), the St. Mary’s Hospital, Isle of Wight,UK and University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool, UK. He also attended short courses on urology at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology in London, Bristol urological institute, Bristol, UK. Glan Clawyd Hospital, Clawyd, UK. Dr. Md. Jahangir Kabir started urology practice in Bangladesh since 2001.
Currently he has been working as a Chief Consultant Department of urology, at Labaid Specialized Hospital Dhaka, Adjunct Professor State University Bangladesh, Academic Director Urology and Transplant foundation of Bangladesh (UTFB)
