Over US$ 9 BILLION pledged to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance to protect 500 million children and save at least 8 million lives between 2026–2030! 💉❤️
At Gavi's high-level pledging summit, co-hosted by the European Union and the Gates Foundation, a record number of donors pledged towards Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, securing more than US$ 9 billion towards a target budget of US$ 11.9 billion to fund our ambitious strategy to protect 500 million children, saving at least 8 million lives from 2026–2030, protect our world from the threat of pandemics, and protect communities from conflict, climate change and other global challenges.
This unprecedented support is a powerful vote of confidence in Gavi’s mission: to protect 500 million children, save at least 8 million lives, and build stronger, more resilient health systems around the world by countries, government, donors, private sectors, CSOs, institutions and professional groups.

✅ Innovative Financing: Beyond traditional pledges, the Summit secured:
US$ 4.5 billion in complementary financing from development finance institutions
US$ 200 million in cost savings from vaccine manufacturers
US$ 149 million+ in private sector partnerships to enhance vaccine delivery
