পূর্বাচল বাড়ি রোগীর নাম মফিজ উল্লাহ । ২০১৫ সালে ৮০বছর বয়সে উনি আমার কাছে বাইপাস সার্জারি করিয়েছেন। গত রবিবার উনি আমাকে আবার দেখাতে এসেছিলেন । আল্লাহর রহমতে এখনো তিনি দিব্যি হাঁটা চলাফেরা করেন । বুকে কোনো ব্যথা নেই স্বাভাবিকভাবেই কাজকর্ম করে যাচ্ছেন 😍😍। আলহামদুলিল্লাহ🙂🙂🙂😍😍

Life As a Cardiac Surgeon

Dr. Md. Aslam Hossain was born on 12th December, 1965 in Narayanganj. His father was a reputed businessman in Narayanganj who ensured the best education for his children along with ethics and morality which led Md. Aslam Hossain of becoming a Doctor in profession.

He had a prestigious academic life, passed SSC in 1981 from Hazi Ibrahim Alam Chan High School and HSC in 1983 from Government Tolaram University College, both located in Narayanganj. He completed his MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College in 1989.

He joined Bangladesh Civil Service in 1993, and then joined IPGM & R (now BSMMU) in 1995 as an Assistant Registrar. He has worked in different places such as Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and then National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. That is when he decided to build his career in Cardiovascular Surgery and completed his MS in Cardiovascular & Thoracic surgery in 2005.

In 2006, he left the Govt. Service and started his career as an Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery in BSMMU. With hard work, dedication and determination with numerous publication he was promoted to Associate Professor of Cardiac Surgery in 2012, and now runs his own unit in the department.
