Laylatul Qadr, also known as the Night of Power or the Night of Decree, is one of the most significant nights in Islam.

On Laylatul Qadr, the Quran was sent down from Al-Lawh Al-Mahfooz to the lowest heaven, known as Bayt Al-'Izzah or the House of Honor.

From there, it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in stages over a period of 23 years, beginning with the first revelation in 610 CE, when the Prophet was 40 years old, and ending with the final revelation in 632 CE, shortly before the Prophet's death.

It is a night of reflection, prayer, and seeking forgiveness, as well as an opportunity to draw closer to Allah and attain His blessings.
