Prof. Dr. Atahar Ali is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist (Arrhythmia and Heart failure specialist) and Interventional cardiologist.
In his academic career, he completed FCPS (in internal medicine), MD( in cardiology). He got his fellowship in electrophysiology & cardiac pacing from Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, India and from AllMS, Kerala, India. He also received expert training in CRT and device implantation from Switzerland and Italy. He is a fellow of the American Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).
His field of interest is arrhythmia, device implantation and heart failure. He has been engaged in this service since 2000. He has vast experience in Electrophysiological studies, radiofrequency ablation and device implantation.
