On Friday, October 18th, representatives (club's President and Treasurer )from CUBMHC volunteered at the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, where they gained invaluable insights into thalassemia and its prevention strategies. They were delivered an enlightening session, sharing expert knowledge on early-stage prevention and the management of this genetic condition.

The students had the opportunity to meet with patients affected by thalassemia, deepening their understanding of the challenges these individuals face. Following a delightful lunch break, the volunteers were briefed on upcoming opportunities to contribute further to this vital cause and donated blood on the spot.

The experience left them more informed and inspired to make a difference.
