He is one of the few surgeons in this subcontinent who obtained four FRCS degrees and also obtained his MSc (Research) degree in 2004 from The University of Leeds, England. After completing the internship he went to England and worked for more than 38 years including 12 years as a Full-Time Consultant, General, and Vascular Surgeon. He had been a Senior Clinical Tutor in the School of Clinical Medicine at Cambridge University School of Medicine. He has special expertise in all kinds of operations including vascular and endovascular surgery, general surgery, gastrointestinal, endocrine, breast surgery, and laparoscopic surgeries. He has several research and publications and he presented several scientific papers at a number of international conferences. Prior to joining us, he worked at the Labaid Hospitals, Dhaka as a Senior Consultant- General, Laparoscopic and Vascular Surgeon since December 2018. In 2014, he joined Apollo Hospitals Dhaka as Senior Consultant- General, Laparoscopic, and Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at North South University & also Visiting Professor at Dhaka Community Medical College & Hospital.
