Today was a truly heart-warming moment for me. Two of my long-time type 1 diabetes patients, Shahed and Samia, visited me as a newly married couple!

I have seen them both for years—through challenges, growth, and countless clinic visits—and witnessing them tie the knot and begin this beautiful new chapter together brought me so much joy.

Wishing Shahed and Samia a lifetime of happiness, good health, and a wonderful future together. May their journey be filled with love, strength, and endless blessings. ❤️💙🩷

Day 3 of the ISPAD, November 7 — Itwas truly special!
I had the privilege of joining two wonderful colleagues from Canada and Cameron as the three speakers in the ISPAD–ADA Joint Symposium on Transition of Care into Young Adulthood.
It was a highly interactive session with 45 minutes of presentations followed by an equally engaging 45-minute panel discussion.Across the globe, the challenges of transition care are remarkably similar, yet the solutions remain uniquely country-specific, shaped by local resources, systems and realities.
What a fantastic and enriching discussion on a topic that continues to be one of the biggest unsolved challenges in diabetes care.
