A Historic Milestone for Bangladesh 🇧🇩

After 25 years of dedicated work in Bangladesh, Hunger Free World (HFW) is entering a new chapter of sustainability and local leadership.

On 18 December 2025, HFW signed an MoU with Bikosh*to Bangladesh Foundation (BBF) to begin the transition of programs, staff, and assets to local ownership. This marks a powerful step toward self-reliant, locally led development.

Until 2030, HFW will continue as a strategic partner, supporting BBF in strengthening institutional capacity—while Bangladeshis lead the way forward.

This journey reflects the true spirit of development:
empowering people to protect the Right to Food—by themselves, for their future.

Together, we move forward. 🌱


বাংলাদেশে ২৫ বছরের অর্থবহ কার্যক্রমের পর Hunger Free World (HFW) স্থানীয় নেতৃত্বের হাতে দায়িত্ব হস্তান্তরের পথে এগোচ্ছে।
১৮ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখে HFW ও বিকশিত বাংলাদেশ ফাউন্ডেশন (BBF)-এর মধ্যে স্বাক্ষরিত সমঝোতা স্মারক (MoU) এই রূপান্তরের প্রথম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধাপ—যার লক্ষ্য পূর্ণ স্থানীয় মালিকানা ও টেকসই উন্নয়ন।

২০৩০ সালের মধ্যে BBF স্বাধীনভাবে এই মিশনের নেতৃত্ব দেবে। এই রূপান্তরকালীন সময়ে HFW একটি বিশ্বস্ত অংশীদার হিসেবে পাশে থেকে স্থানীয় সক্ষমতা জোরদার এবং কমিউনিটি-নেতৃত্বাধীন উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে খাদ্যের অধিকার সুরক্ষায় সহায়তা করবে।

এই অর্জন স্থানীয় নেতৃত্বের শক্তি এবং ক্ষুধামুক্ত বাংলাদেশের জন্য আমাদের যৌথ অঙ্গীকারের একটি দৃঢ় প্রতিফলন। 🇧🇩✨
