Youth Against Hunger Bangladesh (BYMP), the youth wing of Bikosh*to Bangladesh Foundation (BBF), recently held a productive bilateral meeting with the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) to advance the goal of safe and nutritious food for every citizen in Bangladesh.

The meeting was honored by the presence of BFSA Chairman Mr. Zakaria and Member (Food Industry & Production) Professor Dr. Mohammad Shoaib, along with BBF Program Officer Gazi Anika Aslam and representatives of the BYMP convening committee.

Discussions focused on the current food safety situation in Bangladesh, key challenges in ensuring safe food, consumer awareness, and the critical role of youth engagement. Special emphasis was placed on school, college, and community-based awareness programs, research-driven initiatives, volunteer actions, and digital campaigns.

Both parties highlighted the importance of stronger coordination between government institutions and youth-led organizations, joint field-level activities, public understanding of food safety laws, and future trainings and workshops.

BYMP, under the guidance of BBF, firmly believes that safe food is not only a right but a shared responsibility—and youth participation is the key to building a sustainable food system.

‘সুনিকেতন পাঠশালা’র এই নিষ্পাপ শিশুর কল্পনায় যে দেশ আঁকা হয়, সেই দেশই আমাদের আগামীর বাংলাদেশ—ভালোবাসা, প্রকৃতি আর সহমর্মিতায় ভরা।
