OxyJet Limited—proudly a spin-off company from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, BUET—had the honour of sponsoring and participating in “A Decade of Biomedical Engineering at BUET: Achievements and the Road Ahead” milestone event celebrating a decade of innovation, impact, and academic excellence.

The event brought together an exceptional group of national leaders, including the Honourable Vice-Chancellors of BMU and BUET, senior medical faculty, and the Presidents of major medical societies across Bangladesh.

We are thrilled to announce that our startup " OxyJet Limited " has made it to the finals of the prestigious "Bangkok Business Challenge (BBC) 2024" at Sasin School of Management in Bangkok, Thailand! 🎉 This is a historic moment as to our knowledge, we are the first team from Bangladesh to ever reach the finals of the BBC.

We are very excited to announce that our startup "OxyJet Limited" has won the Bangladesh Chapter of the "7th Global Student Entrepreneurship Award 2023".

We especially want to thank our esteemed Vice Chancellor of BUET, Prof. Satya Prosad Mojumder Sir, and the Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUET, Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan Sir. We could not have made such progress without their guidance and support. We also thank the Department of Biomedical Engineering, BUET for always being on our side.

Finally, we are incredibly grateful to the Ministry Of ICT Bangladesh for their continuous support from the inception of this project.

OxyJet is the winner of the 2021 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Student Design Competition in the Covid-19 track! The OxyJet team secured a narrow victory defeating top teams from Duke University and UCLA! This competition was mainly focused on the engineering design aspects of our innovation. Congratulations to the team for this achievement!

This is a global annual event organized by the Biomedical Engineering Society - BMES and is sponsored by Medtronic. The final round of the competition will be organized in Orlando, Florida (USA).
