এখনো আমাদের সমাজে মানসিক সমস্যার কথা প্রকাশ পেলে লোকে পাগল ভাববে কি না, সে ভাবনাতেই চিকিৎসা নিতে পিছপা হন অনেকে। কিন্তু বাস্তবতা হলো, মানসিক সমস্যার কারণে জীবন হয়ে পড়ে দুর্বিষহ। মানসিক সমস্যার প্রভাব পড়তে পারে ব্যক্তিগত, পারিবারিক, এমনকি সামাজিক জীবনেও। এতে পেশাগত জীবনও ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়। মানসিক সমস্যার কারণে অনেনেই আত্মহত্যার পথ বেছে নেন। কিন্তু সময়মত বিজ্ঞান ভিত্তিক চিকিৎসা নিলে মানসিক অসুস্থতাও সম্পূর্ণ ভালো হয়। তাই কুসংস্কারাচ্ছন্ন সামাজিক বলয় পেরিয়ে নিজের সুস্থতার জন্যই মানসিক রোগের চিকিৎসা নিন, নিজে সুস্থ থাকুন, পরিবারকে ভালো রাখুন।
