Patient visited my chamber with irrelevant speeches, suspicionness, sleep disturbance, weight loss, fever for 1 1/2 months.

X-ray of chest reveals - non-homgenous opacifies in rt upper and mid zones of lungs, ESR 105 mm in 1st hour, MT test -20mm induration. CT scan if brain -normal study.

Dx : "Schizophreniform disorder with Pulmonary TB"

He was referred to Medicine specialist for further evaluation and management of Pulmonary TB.

The patient was referred to me by Professor Ahmed Hossain sir, Head of the Department of Medicine, SSMC. I diagnosed the patient as ' Panic disorder with agoraphobia with anxiety symptoms with Obesity (class I) on 2021.

After the treatment he had visited me twice in my chamber and later he went to Qatar and have been working their as Taxi driver. His psychological problems were controlled and he continues medicines till now.

Couple of months ago, he missed the medicines and developed sleep disturbances and panic attacks again. He tried to consult with Psychiatrist in Qatar but he didn’t improve, so returned to Bangladesh only for treatment.

Yesterday I assessed him and he has expressed his gratitude to me for being treating him since 2021.

It’s my luck and blessing from Allah that patients remember me for long time and comes to me again for getting services.
