I am telling you step by step what documents are required for marriage.....
Question: 1. What documents are required to register a marriage?
Answer: 1. 2 copies of photographs of the groom and the bride.
2. Photocopy of voter ID card or birth certificate of the groom and the bride.
3. Two witnesses.
4. The groom must be 21 years old and the bride must be 18 years old. (Child marriage is a punishable offense under the law)
Question: 2. How will the marriage be completed in full?
Answer:
1. The marriage of the bride and groom will be solemnized in front of witnesses by reciting the Holy Quran in a religious manner through Ijab and Qabul.
2. After the marriage ceremony, the marriage will be registered in the marriage registry record with the signatures and countersignatures of the bride and groom.
3. After the marriage, so that no one can make any complaint against anyone and so that the guardians of both parties cannot harass the validity of the marriage by making any unfair complaint, an affidavit is attached to the declaration of court marriage through an affidavit. (Optional)
Question: 3. What documents will you provide with the marriage?
Answer: You will receive two documents with the marriage.
1. Marriage registry receipt. Which will prove that you are a legal husband and wife according to the law.
2. I will provide you with the court marriage or court affidavit.
Question: 4. How long will it take?
Answer: It will not take more than 1 hour in total.
Question: 5. How much will it cost?
