Asgar Ali Hospital (AAH) a multidisciplinary tertiary care hospital is situated at Gandaria, Dhaka. It is a concern of the City Group http://citygroup.com.bd/ of the top conglomerates in Bangladesh which started its journey in 1972 and in a span of four decades has grown up as one of the largest industrial icons.
Asgar Ali Hospital, a 11 stories building with 300 beds is exclusively managed by well reputed professionals from home and abroad. It`s main focus is to provide healthcare service of international standard at an affordable price through continuous improvement of services.
Studies have shown that no medical procedure is absolutely hazard free, but hazards can be reduced to a great extent by meticulously following patient safety protocols suggested as IPSG (International Patient Safety Goals). Correct identification of patient with proper communication, maintaining ‘safe surgery’, infection control program, prevention and management of fall and safety of high-alert medications are the major areas which can ensure reduction in treatment related hazards. Total quality management (TQM) along with infection control program is playing the pivotal role in patient safety. In addition, we have got comprehensive preparedness against natural calamities like earthquake and fire.
Another area of our interest is the ‘human touch’ which should come as cherished gift not only from the doctors’ end but also from every other staff.
