As care becomes increasingly central to economic and social progress, Bangladesh is taking important steps to strengthen its care economy.
The National Care Conclave 2026, jointly organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and UN Women, brought together leaders from government, development partners, private sector, and civil society to shape the future of care, gender equality, and workforce development.
AYAT Education was proud to be part of this important platform. Our stall engaged a diverse group of participants, sparking meaningful conversations around skills, care services, and human development pathways.
We were honored by the visit of Honâble Minister Mr. Abu Zafar Md. Zahid Hossain (MP) and Honâble State Minister Ms. Farzana Sharmin (MP), and appreciated the presence of Mr. Max TuÃąÃŗn (Country Director of ILO), Ms. Gitanjali Singh (Country Representative of UN Women), and Mr. Hoe Yun Jeong (Country Director of ADB), reflecting strong global commitment to strengthening Bangladeshâs care ecosystem.
Adding to the dialogue, Imran Chowdhury, COO of AYAT Education, spoke in the session âDeveloping Human Capability for Care Economy,â emphasizing the need for demand-driven skills development and structured workforce pathways, while also highlighting the importance of dignifying care work, raising awareness around care services, and strengthening faculty development.
The conclave reinforced a shared visionâbuilding a more inclusive, skilled, and care-driven future. AYAT Education remains committed to advancing this journey through collaboration and innovation.
