Topic: Betrayal
The Crazy thing about being betrayed is, you don't just lose trust in people., You begin to doubt whether or not you can trust yourself, your judgement, your emotions, you get bit by a snake and wonder how you didn't see it coming. So you start blaming love for having you blind. You start resenting your heart, because it forced you to feel. You start shutting down more and more each day until even the best parts of you become bitter
And you begin to wonder..
"I was living in a fantasy world of love, trust and forever more. He shattered it all, forcing me to see, it was my world, not his. Love , honor, responsibilities were one-sided, had always been.
"Why lie to me when i was real to you ?",
"Why play games with me when i was true to you?",
"Why betray me when i was nothing but loyal to you?"
You ask and ask but none of the answers ever make sense. Until it finally clicks and you realize, you can no longer close your eyes to the lies he told or the ones you told yourself and that just because you treat people right, doesn't mean they'll do right by you. You realize that just because you're truthful doesn't mean you won't get lied to. You watch your friends jump from relationships to relationship, loosing their self trying to force love. You see people you thought you knew acting out of character just so strangers find them impressive. So then you smarten up and you learn not to let users upset you .. user who used you mentally and physically in form of betrayal. You learn how to let the liars go and fakers fail. And you stop, and you thank your sense of humanity for growth, the growth that helps you accept and see things clearly, some people make easy to cut off, no need to get angry at their actions . Just thank them for saving you time. And you will learn, It is time to dream a new dream, begin a new life out with a heart and mind that's mended and stronger than ever before..
