We dream for a better life for every single under privileged child of our society. Our all activities are solely for the betterment of the street children, who also have fundamental human rights to be treated like any other privileged child. To lighten up the lives of thousands of street children, this project is primarily planned to select street children from the Dhaka city and to help them in their education and all other necessary expenses to raise them as the best serving future citizen of our country. The output of this project is expected to be a group of educated and self-confident individuals, who will stand against crime and drug-abuse and will serve to educate others. "ASROY" is working with two basic human rights health as well as education and also with emergency relief. Health camps and health education camps are frequently arranged to bring health services to the doorstep of the neglected people of the society. Childrens are trained in first aid service under our project "Project Safety". Hundreds of disadvantaged children dreams of growing up under " ASROY" run PHD school. Every year, they are leaving merit signatures in PSC and JSC examinations. Apart from celebrating various days throughout the year, "ASROY" do not forget to stand by the families of the children during the month of Ramadan. At the end of the year, when the country trembles with cold, the dreamers of "ASROY" go out to provide winter clothes. Warmth reaches different parts of the country through our project "Warmth For The Nation". "ASROY" comes down to the streets in any need of the country. "ASROY" rehabilitated several families affected by the accident at Rana Plaza. Its works are not limited in the borders of the country. "ASROY" has sent relief during the devastating earthquake of Nepal, also helped to rebuild a school destroyed by earthquake. "ASROY" is a non-profit organization. It is run entirely through the spontaneous donation and cooperation of conscientious people of the society . "Zakat" is the biggest source of ASROY's collection. Collected amount of "Zakat" money is spent in the zakat sectors defined by islamic law. Asroy, we dream to create a new world by enlightening the minds and souls of under privileged children of our society, who are precious to us. Every single child is a gift to our society who will build up a better country in future. Asroy is all about taking care of these precious gifts through educating and nurturing them to let them become as more beneficial outputs for our society. আশ্রয়, অনেক বড় একটা স্বপ্নের ছোট্ট একটা নাম। আমাদের স্বপ্ন সমাজের প্রতিটি সুবিধাবঞ্চিত শিশুকে তার মৌলিক অধিকার আদায়ে পাশে এসে দাঁড়ানো, তাদের মুখেও একটু হাসি ফুটানো। আশ্রয়ের সকল প্রচেষ্টা সম্পূর্নভাবে কেবলমাত্র পথশিশুদের কল্যাণের জন্যেই নিবেদিত।সমাজের প্রতিটা শিশু শিক্ষার আলোয় আলোকিত হয়ে উঠুক, এটাই আশ্রয়ের উদ্দেশ্য।
সমগ্র ঢাকা শহর থেকে বাছাই করা মেধাবী পথশিশুর নিয়মিত পড়াশোনার যাবতীয় খরচ বহন করা এবং এদেরকে সমাজের যোগ্য মানুষ হিসেবে গড়ে তোলার জন্যে প্রয়োজনীয় ওয়ার্কশপের আয়োজন করাই এই প্রজেক্টের মূল পরিকল্পনা। এ প্রজেক্টের আউটপুট হিসেবে যেসব পথশিশু শিক্ষিত হয়ে বের হয়ে আসবে, তারা নিজেরাও মাদক ও সন্ত্রাসের ভয়াল থাবা থেকে অন্য পথশিশুদের বাঁচাতে কাজ করবে বলেই আমাদের বিশ্বাস।
আশ্রয় কাজ করছে মৌলিক দুইটি অধিকার স্বাস্থ্য, শিক্ষা এবং ইমার্জেন্সি রিলিফ নিয়ে। সমাজের অবহেলিত মানুষের দোরগোড়ায় স্বাস্থ্যসেবা পৌছে দিতে নিয়মিত আয়োজন হয় হেলথ ক্যাম্প, হেলথ এডুকেশন ক্যাম্প। শিশুদের প্রাথমিক সেবায় প্রশিক্ষিত করে তোলা হয় প্রজেক্ট সেইফটির মাধ্যমে।
আশ্রয় পরিচালিত PHD স্কুলে বড় হওয়ার স্বপ্ন দেখে শতাধিক সুবিধাবঞ্চিত শিশু। PSC এবং JSC পরিক্ষায় প্রতিবছর মেধার স্বাক্ষর রেখে যাচ্ছে তারা।
আশ্রয় বছরব্যাপী নানা দিবস উদযাপন ছাড়াও রামাদ্বান মাসে শিশুদের পরিবারের পাশে দাঁড়াতে ভুলে যায়না। প্রতি ঈদে বাচ্চাদের হাতে তুলে দেয় নতুন জামা। বছরের শেষে যখন কনকনে শীতে দেশ কাপতে থাকে, তখনও আশ্রয়ের স্বপ্নবাজরা বেরিয়ে পরে শীতের কাপড় নিয়ে। Warmth For The Nation প্রজেক্টের মাধ্যমে দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে পৌছে যায় উষ্ণতা।
দেশের যেকোনো দুর্যোগেও আশ্রয় নেমে আসে রাস্তায়। রানা প্লাজায় দুর্ঘটনায় ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত কয়েকটি পরিবারকে পুনর্বাসন করে দিয়েছিলো আশ্রয়। শুধু দেশের গন্ডিতেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। নেপালে বিধ্বংসী ভূমিকম্পের সময় ত্রাণ পাঠিয়েছে, ভূমিকম্পে বিধ্বস্ত একটি স্কুল পুন:নির্মাণ করতেও সহায়তা করেছে।
আশ্রয় একটি অলাভজনক প্রতিষ্ঠান। এটি সম্পূর্ণ পরিচালিত হয় বিবেকবান মানুষের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত দান এবং সহযোগিতায়। আশ্রয়ের অনুদানের সর্ববৃহৎ উৎস হচ্ছে যাকাত। যাকাতের খাত গুলোতেই সেই টাকা ব্যয় করা হয়।
আশ্রয় দেশের সকল সুবিধাবঞ্চিত পথশিশুদের হৃদয়কে শিক্ষার আলোয় আলোকিত করে গড়ে তুলতে চায় নতুন পৃথিবী। আমাদের এই স্বপ্ন যাত্রায় সাথী হোন আপনিও।
