TANVEER PLASTIC SURGERY Dr Tanveer Ahmed; MBBS, FCPS (Plastic Surgery), FACS (USA), CMEd Associate Professor, Department of Plastic Surgery Dhaka Medical College & Hospital, Bangladesh. Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, a leading new generation Bangladeshi Plastic, Hand & Aesthetic Surgeon who has been trained in Bangladesh with world-renowned Bangladeshi Plastic Surgeons Professor Shafquat H Khundkar, Professor Abul Kalam & Professor Rayhana Awwal at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He is the only Plastic & Aesthetic Surgeon of the country who has been trained in Australia, UK, USA, Thailand, Singapore & Canada with different prestigious scholarships offered by respective countries between 2014 & 2018.

Dr. Tanveer was graduated from Mymensingh Medical College of the University of Dhaka in 2003 and went on to do all his post-graduate training in Bangladesh. He has experienced working in BSMMU, BIRDEM, and DMCH. He obtained his FCPS (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2013 & FACS from the American College of Surgeons in 2017.

Over the years, he helped numerous patients seeking Plastic Surgery realize their dreams of a functionally reconstructed body parts following trauma, cancer, congenital anomalies, burn or after any surgery and beautifully contoured body and a radiant, youthful facial appearance. He has already done more than 150 gynaecomastia surgeries within a very short time. Dr. Tanveer recognises undergoing Plastic Surgery is a major decision requiring careful consideration and more importantly his working experience with leading Plastic Surgeons of the world like Prof G Ian Taylor AO, Russell J Corlett, Mark Ashton, Peter C Neligan, F**d Nahai, Brian C Sommerlad, Gregory Evans, James Chang, Barbara Jemec, Frank Lista and Jamil Ahmad which helps him to think diversely. This is why he takes the time to provide his Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgery patients with extensive information about all aspects of the proposed treatments with optimum concentration to the patient.

Dr. Tanveer loves to research and publication. Having 24 publications & Editor of two medical journals & an international reviewer, 5 researches, more than 50 scientific presentations at home & abroad, 7 posters and published a book & a chapter. He is the member of American College of Surgeons and American Society of Plastic Surgeons (Membership recruitment, Compliance & Development Committee). Volunteering with several organizations like Operation Cleft Australia and Operation Giving Back, USA. He has traveled 19 countries.
