Hello everyone! Hope you are all having an excellent eidul fitr! After a long long time I'm here once again to share a little something with you, so I'd appreciate if you read it and keep following us!

Wanted to share my experience with M’oishi - Bangladesh as I picked some two of their items from Chef's Table Dhaka dhanmondi branch. My wife has been telling me that she wants to try mochi for a long time, so I was looking for some place where I would get this Japanese dessert. Since I'm living abroad for studies I couldn't do anything until I came home at the end of this Ramadan for just a few days. However I found out that M'oishi Bangladesh is known for having Japanese mochi ice cream in their menu.

I wanted it the day before Eid but they told me that it was unavailable and it would be available on the day of Eid, and I didn't have much problem with that.

So yesterday I went there and ordered the mochis for takeaway. Because my wife was at home and I wanted to pick up the mochis and reach home as early as possible because the ice cream would otherwise melt.

Now let's give you my honest feedback.

I ordered:
🟥mochi icecream with vanilla flavour- 140 tk
🟧mochi icecream with butterscotch flavour- 140 tk
🟨mango flavoured mochi roll- 280 tk (I was just eager to try this one too as it looked interesting)

Before the feedback let me just introduce you to mochi ice cream if you didn't know about it before-

♦️Mochi is a Japanese dessert featuring soft chewy mochi (pounded glutinous rice) dough wrapped around a scoop of ice cream.

The packaging was decent. However, trying mochi for the first time, the mochis didn't impress me. My wife then told me that it is supposed to be softer and more chewy, but I really don't know whether it was authentic or not. However, it didn't impress me because it just seemed like a scoop of ice cream inside some thin roti like coating. Those who are eager to try this one, obviously you should try but in my opinion it tastes nothing special. Either they need to make it authentic or if it is authentic then I guess this is what it is.

However, the mochi roll did not seem right. That was because of a strong flavour of raw egg coming from the outer layer of the roll. It tasted disgusting because of this strong flavour, though I didn't really know whether it is seemed to taste and smell like this or not, so I can't really say that it was their fault. If someone here is actually experienced in mochis, you can help us with the right answer. However to me and my wife it tasted awful and I had to finish it by myself forcefully as I always try not to waste any food. Otherwise I'd have just thrown it to the bin.

My personal rating would be like this:
🟩Mochi ice cream: 5/10
🟦Mochi roll: 2/10

However, their customer service is something I'd like to praise, because I had some conversations with them on messenger before I decided to go there and they were very polite and helpful. Also they were quick to respond.

Product name: Daily Peach Iced Tea

Price: 25 taka

Rating: 4 out of 10

So the other day this drink got my attention at a general store near my home. I was eager to try this so I bought it right away.

However, when I sipped it I was utterly disappointed. I have had Iced tea many times before, and I know what peach is, too. It is nowhere near it's name. Most importantly, it has a disgusting chemical like taste which spoils the whole experience.

Not recommended at all.

MIXED REVIEW- Alfresco Dhanmondi.

Hello my foodie friends! I hope you are having a wonderful new year.

These days I have become extremely busy as I have to spend most of my leisure time with my family. As a result, it has become too hard to post reviews regularly, even though I am regularly trying different food from different places.

A week ago I ordered Alfresco for the first time. I don't usually trust food deliveries that much, but at times you have no choice. Since I have been to Alfresco once before, and they have always maintained a proper standard, I decided to order from them.

We wanted to have a light snacks session instead of a meal. So I only ordered a pizza, 3 pastas and 2 soups.

⭐We ordered:
1. Pizza delicia (chicken) 10 inch - 710 bdt
2. 2 pasta Alfresco - 430 bdt
3. 1 pasta Zingy - 430 bdt
4. Cream of mushroom soup - 205 bdt
5. Seafood soup - 240 bdt

🔴The pizza delicia is an absolute stunner that would not fail to mesmerize you every time you have it.

🟠The pastas are okay but I won't rate them highly, because they are more on the drier side. Who doesn't love a cheesy melting pasta?

🟡The pasta Zingy has lemongrass in it, which gives it a unique flavour. I don't know whether you'd like it but it tasted good.

🟢The soups were good. But I found a very little string of hair in the cream of mushroom soup, which I immediately removed using a spoon. I'd like to notify the authorities about this.

That was it. Overall the experience was good.

THE FIRST STREET FOOD REVIEW is on!!! MIXED EXPERIENCE!!

Hello dear foodies! As you have seen already, we always write our reviews in english. But this time I'd like to write the main part of this review in bengali. Because otherwise the experience wouldn't be properly expressed. I hope you'll enjoy the read!

মাঝেমাঝেই একটা ক্লাসের জন্য আমার পরিবাগ ফুডকোর্টের পাশ দিয়ে যেতে হয়। মাঝেমধ্যে এটা সেটা চেখেও দেখি। তবে রিভিউ এর আগে কখনোই দেয়া হয়নি।

এই শুক্রবার খেতে গেলে খেয়াল করে ছবিগুলো তুলে রেখেছি যেন এবার রিভিউ মিস না যায়।

আমরা নিয়েছিলাম:
১. চালের রুটি ৩ টা- ২০ টাকা করে
২. ঝাল চাপাটি‌ রুটি ১ টা- ৪০ টাকা
৩. কালাই রুটি ১ টা- ৩০ টাকা
৪. খাসির বট- ১০০ টাকা
৫. নেহারী- ১৫০ টাকা
৬. দুইটা‌ চকোলেট মিল্ক শেক- ৬০ টাকা করে

সবগুলো আইটেম খুব মজা ছিলো। আমি শখ‌ করে খাসির বট বা ভুঁড়ি নিয়েছিলাম কিন্তু ঝাল সহ্য করতে পারিনা বলে বেশি এনজয় করতে পারিনি। আপনারা যারা ঝাল সহ্য করতে পারেন না তারা এটা না‌ নিয়ে নেহারীটা‌ ট্রাই করতে পারেন। নেহারীটা বেশ ভালো। আর রুটির মাঝে বেস্ট হচ্ছে ওদের চালের রূটিটা। জাস্ট অসাধারণ। ঝাল চাপাটি‌ আর কালাই রুটিটাও ভালো তবে চালের রুটিটা বেস্ট।

❗তবে একটা বিষয় না বললেই না। এগুলো খাওয়ার পরে আমার পেটে একটু অসুবিধা হচ্ছিলো। সুতরাং ওখানে খেতে গেলে এটা অবশ্যই মাথায় রেখে খাবেন। আর স্বাস্থ্যের ব্যাপারে খুব সতর্ক থাকতে হবে।

Let me shift once again to english. So that was our experience. Overall, good. But you must be careful about your health. It's better not to go if you have a sensitive tummy or if you already have problems.

Heyyy good people! Went to cafe login a week earlier for an evening snacks.

My friend recommended their nachos as he has tried it before. We ordered a special nachos.

The nachos actually tasted very good. I don't exactly know what were used to prepare it, but it impressed me to be honest.

For nachos lovers, it's definitely recommended.

Price- 350 taka

Hello good people. Today's review is actually one of my most delayed reviews. Most probably I had it about 3 months ago.

I had some work at Dhanmondi 27 and decided to have my lunch there. After a little thinking I entered Shalimar kitchen. I wanted to try their kacchi or any other biryani but it was not available, hence I ordered their Shish Tawook Platter.

This platter costs 400 bdt. Comes with naan, saffron polau and 8 pieces of shish tawook.

The quality of the food was good. But the quantity is actually impressive. I could only finish 5 pieces of shish tawook at most. I had to parcel the rest.

The interior and service is okay.

The food could be rated at 6/7 out of 10.

After my combat class at khilgaon this Friday, we were genuinely hungry. So we decided to eat something. That's when I saw one cafe named Holy Fries. The name caught my attention so I decided to give it a try.

My plan was to sit there and enjoy the food. But my friend who was with me, had a sudden emergency and he had very little time. So I had to order for parcel.

Let me say it clear: This review is too casual and too short. That's were The NoobFoodie Dhaka differs from any other food vloggers. We don't hesitate to order something so simple, most of the times just one or two simple snacks, then shate with you people.

However, we ordered one fries costing 120 taka and one meatbox costing 260 taka.

We ordered the Sacred Box containing mainly sausages, meatballs and chicken.

I've tasted a number of meatboxes from different places, so I could say it was good.

My rating would be 7 out of 10.

I am eager to try their other items in future. Let me know what you think of our reviews.

Positive Review Alert!!

Buttery Bites impressed me today with their signature doner kabab.

Hello foodies. It was an unplanned visit to Buttery Bites at Khilgaon, for a light treat after my combat class.

They suggested me to try their signature doner kabab, or you may call it chicken shawarma.

The special thing about it is that they use romali roti as the wrap, which makes it very tasteful.

The roti was very soft, tender and perfectly prepared. That was the game changer. Overall the doner tasted excellent to me. You should try it.

I took a brownie too, and it was good. A bit to the dry side, it is worth your money.

Their interior is quite small similar to the tasty treat outlets. But it is new, and neat and clean. Their service is also satisfactory.

Doner kabab Price: 170 taka

Rating: 8 out of 10

Brownie Price: 90 taka

Rating: 7 out of 10

Dear foodies, I am currently visiting Saudi Arabia,so how can I not go to some famous chains, try their food and see if they are really worth it?

Unfortunately I will not post any particular reviews because I have not taken photos due to the situation I was in. But for now let me just tell you about some of the places I have been to this time.

1. Hardees
2. Al Baik
3. Sbarro
4. Dunkin Donuts
5. McDonald's

Al Baik is the number one fastfood chain in Saudi Arabia because it provides best meals but that doesnt empty your pockets.

McDonald's is on the expensive side but they maintain their quality.

Hardees is also expensive and have good burgers but not worth the money for me. For example, their burger on an average costs around 30 sr which is more than 900 taka.

Sbarro is quite expensive but very good. One 17 inch pizza comes at around 85 sr or around 2500 taka.

Dunkin Donuts is more like the number 1 coffee and bakery especially donuts brand in Saudi Arabia. Because they provide budget snacks yet maintain the quality. It is cheaper than Starbucks.

Hello foodies!

I have been planning since a long time to try one of the best offers on pizza in the town- The MUNCHEEZ combo offer by Cheez.

In it, they would serve you 4 mighty 8 inch pizzas costing a mere total of bdt 999 only! It can easily be a meal of 3/4 persons.

So a month ago, when my exams finished I took 2 of my friends and went to Cheez Mirpur for a proper pizza meal.

Let me explain below.

🟦Their interior looks quite nice to me, the outlet is spacious and decorated in style. Thus I enjoy the ambience.

🟪Their service is always very professional. Which is quite rare in the restaurants of Dhaka. I have been there two times, and both times they were very professional indeed.

⬛They got live tv too, which helps sports fan in the tournament seasons.

🟥The pizzas were simply great. I asked them if they could make two pizzas with a thin crust and the other two with a thick crust. At first the waiter said he needs to ask his manager and then came to us and assured us that he would do as I have requested.

Though I personally liked the thick crusts better, my friends thought that the thin crust ones were the favourites.

The pizzas are:
All bout the shrooms
Chicken alfredo
Spicy sausage
Creamy chicken and sausage

The best according to me was the first one of the four, which is a mushroom topped pizza. However, each one was good.

So I can rare all of them on average as 8 out of 10.

One more thing- their garlic mayo dip feels INCREDIBLY good with the pizzas.
