আজকের প্রোগ্রামের ব্রেস্ট ক্যান্সার অ্যাওয়ারনেস সেশনের লেকচার ডেলিভারি শেষে, মতামত দেওয়ার জন্য ডাকা হয় IPDC-এর HR Head ফাহমিদা আপাকে! আপা আমার পেশেন্ট, আমাকে গুলশান ল্যাবএইডে দেখিয়েছিলেন বেশ কয়েক মাস আগে! তার বক্তব্যের এক পর্যায়ে তিনি বলেন,
"হঠাৎ বুকে ব্যাথা নিয়ে, অন্যদের থেকে প্রভাবিত হয়ে, দুশ্চিন্তা করতে করতে আমার শরণাপন্ন হয়েছিলেন তিনি! আমি তাকে কোন টেস্ট না দিয়ে, শুধুমাত্র প্রস্রাবের ইনফেকশন আর ডায়াবেটিসের পরীক্ষা দিয়েছিলাম এবং উনি নাকি চিকিৎসাতে সুস্থ হয়ে গিয়েছিলেন! এরপর তার পরিবারের অন্যান্য আত্মীয়-স্বজনকেও নাকি আমার কাছে পাঠান! এমনকি আজকে প্রোগ্রামে যারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন তাদেরকেও বলেছেন!"
কথাগুলো বলার উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে, আমি ব্রেস্টের যত ধরনের রোগী দেখি; তাদের মধ্যে একটা কমন জিনিস লক্ষ্য করেছি! যে সকল রোগীর ব্রেস্টের উপসর্গগুলো নিয়ে চিন্তিত হওয়া দরকার, তারা এ ব্যাপারে বেশ উদাসীন! অথচ যার ব্রেস্টের কোন ধরনের কোন সমস্যাই নেই, চিন্তিত হওয়ার কোন কারণ নেই, তারা দিনরাত টেনশন করে মরে যাচ্ছে! এজন্যই বলি, ব্রেস্টের চিকিৎসায় গুগল ডাক্তারি নয়! যেকোনো একজন বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তারের শরণাপন্ন হন!
After the lecture delivery of today's program's Breast Cancer Awareness session, IPDC's HR Head Fahmida was called to give her opinion! She is my patient, she showed me to Gulshan LabAid several months ago! At one point in her speech, she said,
"Suddenly, she came to me with chest pain, influenced by others, and worried! I didn't give her any tests, I only gave her urine infection and diabetes tests and she got cured with treatment! Then she sent other relatives of her family to me! She even told everyone who was present in the program today!"
The purpose of saying these words is that I have noticed one common thing among all the types of breast patients I see; all the patients who need to be worried about their breast symptoms are quite indifferent about it! Whereas those who don't have any kind of breast problem, there is no reason to worry, they are dying of tension day and night! That's why I say, stop being biased by Google doctor for breast treatment! Consult a specialist doctor!

আন্টিকে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম, "আন্টি ব্যথা পেয়েছেন?"
আন্টি বলল, "না গো মা! এর চেয়ে FNAC-তে বেশি ব্যথা পেয়েছি!"
সঠিক পদ্ধতিতে ব্রেস্ট-এ Core cut biopsy করলে ব্যথা হওয়ার কোন সুযোগই নেই! তাই ব্রেস্টের যে কোন টিউমারে FNAC নয়, বায়োসিই হচ্ছে সর্বজন স্বীকৃত পদ্ধতি!
