1. When to take IcyKool Max®?
This cream is used to relieve pain of muscle aches and sprains, rheumatism, arthritis and similar conditions.

2. How to take IcyKool Max®?
This medication is for use on the skin only. Do not use on scraped, irritated or broken skin. To use, apply a thin layer to the affected area and rub it gently. Do not cover with a tight bandage or use with a heating pad as this may cause skin damage. The cream is applied liberally to the painful area, with gentle massage until absorbed. This treatment is repeated as necessary.

3. Who should not take IcyKool Max®?
Allergy to salicylate or sensitivity to any of the components. Application to broken skin or raw surfaces is contraindicated.

4. How IcyKool Max® works?
This cream is the dual action topical pain reliever and ideal for fast, long-lasting pain relief from sore muscles, backache, muscle cramps and arthritis. Methyl salicylate relieves pain by a counterirritant action. When rubbed on the skin it produces mild irritation and is absorbed to an appreciable extent.

5. How supplied?
IcyKool® Max Cream: Tube containing 25 g cream, each gram cream contains Methyl salicylate BP 300 mg and Menthol BP 80 mg.

Description:
Acerux® Cream is a topical antiviral preparation. Acyclovir is a synthetic purine derivative. It exerts its antiviral effect on Herpes simplex viruses (HSV) and Varicella zoster (VZV) virus by interfering with DNA synthesis and inhibiting viral replication. In cells infected with virus, the antiviral activity of Acyclovir appears to depend principally on the intracellular conversion of the drug to Acyclovir triphosphate which is the pharmacologically active form of the drug.
Indications:
Acyclovir is poorly water soluble and has poor oral bioavailability (15-30%). Intravenous administration is necessary if high concentrations are required. When orally administered, peak plasma concentration occurs after 1-2 hours. Acyclovir has a high distribution rate; protein binding is reported to range from 9 to 33%. The elimination half-life is approximately 3 hours. It is renal excreted.
Mode of Action:
Viral (HSV-1, HSV-2 and VZV) thymidine kinase converts acyclovir to the acyclovir monophosphate, which is then converted to the diphosphate by cellular guanylate kinase, and finally to the triphosphate by phosphoglycerate kinase, phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, and pyruvate kinase. acyclovir triphosphate competitively inhibits viral DNA polymerase and competes with the natural deoxyguanosine triphosphate, for incorporation into viral DNA. Once incorporated, acyclovir triphosphate inhibits DNA synthesis by acting as a chain terminator.

Decomit® HFA is a metered dose inhaler (MDI) contains beclomethasone dipropionate. It is environment friendly inhaler which contains ozone-benign propellant replacing CFC propellant. Decomit HFA is indicated in the maintenance treatment of asthma as prophylactic therapy in patients 5 years of age and older. Beclomethasone dipropionate is also indicated for asthma patients who require systemic corticosteroid administration, where adding Beclomethasone dipropionate may reduce or eliminate the need for the systemic corticosteroids.

DIACTIN (Glipizide) is an oral blood glucose lowering drug of the sulfonylurea class which causes hypoglycaemia by stimulating release of insulin from pancreatic beta cells and by increasing the sensitivity of peripheral tissues to insulin.
DIACTIN (Glipizide) is indicated as an adjunct to diet for the control of hyperglycaemia and its associated symptomatology in the treatment of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM; type II) when diet modification has not been proved effective on its own. In certain patients who are receiving insulin, the concurrent use of Glipizide would allow a reduction in the daily dose of insulin.

Cinarex (Tobramycin) is a water soluble aminoglycoside antibiotic active against a wide variety of ophthalmic infections. It is indicated for the treatment of external infections of the eye and its appendages such as bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal ulcer caused by susceptible bacteria.Tobramycin ophthalmic preparation is safe and effective for use in children over 2 months of age.

The most frequent adverse reactions to Tobramycin are localized ocular toxicity and hypersensitivity, including lid itching and swelling and conjunctival erythema. These reactions are rare and occur in less than 3% of patients treated. Cinarex® Eye Drops: Plastic dropper bottle contains 5 ml sterile eye drops & each ml contains Tobramycin USP 3 mg.
