Nuvista Pharma Limited (“the Company”) was originally a subsidiary of Netherlands-based Organon International. The Company has been operating in Bangladesh since 1964, with a local manufacturing facility at Tongi, Dhaka. In the post-independent Bangladesh, it was incorporated as Organon (Bangladesh) Limited under Bangladesh Companies Act as a private limited company. Following the divestment of Oraganon’s equity to the local management in 2006, the Company was renamed as Nuvista Pharma Limited. In 2011, the Company, through amendments to its Memorandum and Articles of Association, became a public Limited Company under the Companies Act 1994. In 2018, Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited, a public limited company listed with Bangladesh Stock Exchanges and AIM of London Stock Exchange, acquired majority shareholdings (85.22%) in Nuvista Pharma Limited. Carrying the legacy of the quality and manufacturing excellence of Organon, the manufacturing facilities of the Company is currently producing hormones, steroids, and other general products in different dosage forms including tablets, capsules, injections, ophthalmic drops etc. The company currently employs around 1200 employees of diverse professional backgrounds including pharmacists, doctors, engineers, chemists, microbiologists, accountants, business graduates and other white-collar professionals.

An Exemplary Display of Excellence and Teamwork

We are proud to announce the outstanding performance of our teams at the National Annual Quality Convention (NAQC) 2025, held on Saturday, July 5 at the University of Asia Pacific. This year’s event saw enthusiastic participation from 26 teams representing BPL, SPP, NPL, and I&I, all competing with passion and professionalism at this prestigious national forum.

In a remarkable outcome, 25 of our teams were awarded Gold, while one team earned Silver, with no Bronze awards being received—an extraordinary accomplishment that reflects the collective hard work, discipline, and commitment of all involved.

Among the impressive results, seven of our teams secured positions in the Top 10, standing out among 70 teams from various organizations and industries across the country. This significant recognition reaffirms the high standards of quality, planning, and performance that our NPL teams consistently uphold.

This achievement would not have been possible without the meticulous preparation, collaborative spirit, and unwavering support from our leadership. It is a moment of pride for our entire organization and a strong testament to our culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
