Many people are embarrassed to talk about their re**al troubles mostly out of the embarrassment of talking of their private part and also the stigma of getting a re**al examination by the doctor. If neglected for long time simple diseases like anore**al abscesses can turn into more like troublesome complex anore**al fistula. Lack of awareness and negligence also provides to late diagnosis of color

e**al cancers. The principle aim of the Colore**al Clinic is to provide patients with a 'one-stop' fast track service for colore**al diseases. Patients will undergo an initial consultation, detailed examination including proctoscopy and sigmoidoscopy of the lower bowel and treatment of the problem as Out-patient service. Patients requiring operative treatment will be admitted in the In-patient Department. Patients with any of the following symptoms may be referred to the Colore**al Clinic:

1. Something coming out per-rectum,
3. Painful defaecation,
4. Purulent/watery discharge from perianal region,
5. Perianal swelling,
6. Perianal itching,
7. Constipation,
8. Alteration of bowel habit,
9. Abdominal pain, flatulence, discomfort,
10. Abdominal lump. Besides addressing these problems Colore**al Awareness Programs, Colore**al Cancer Screening and Diagnosis, Stoma care will also be important services provided by the Colore**al Clinic.
