Regular CME Program and Medicine Introduction Session Held at Ad-din Momin Medical College

A regular weekly CME (Continuing Medical Education) program was held at Ad-din Momin Medical College. Following the CME session, a discussion meeting was organized by Ad-din Pharmaceuticals focusing on the introduction, efficacy, and comparative effectiveness of their medicines.

The event was graced by Dr. Jamalunnesa,PhD Managing Director of Ad-din Pharmaceuticals, who delivered an insightful and inspiring discussion on both the company’s products and various academic topics.

The theme of the weekly CME program was “Dengue Fever”, with the keynote presentation delivered by Dr. Tasnim Ahmed, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics. Expert panel comments were provided by Professor Dr. Sanjay Kumar Saha, Head of the Department of Medicine.

Special guests included Professor Dr. Afik Rahman, Advisor of Ad-din Foundation, and Professor Dr. Ruhul Amin, Director of Ad-din Momin Medical College.

The entire program was presided over by Professor Dr. Golam Rahman Dulal, Principal of Ad-din Momin Medical College.

Teachers and physicians present at the event actively participated in lively discussions and exchange of knowledge, expressing optimism that such initiatives will further enrich future medical practice.

আদ্-দ্বীন মোমিন মেডিকেল কলেজের ইন্টার্ণ ডাক্তার তন্ময় ইসলাম জয় দীর্ঘদিন যাবৎ প্রতিষ্ঠান এর শিক্ষার্থীদের নিকট থেকে নগদ টাকা,বই-খাতা,জুতা,ছাতা,কুকার,রান্না করা তরকারি সহ বিভিন্ন সামগ্রী চুরি করে আসছে।দীর্ঘদিন যাবৎ ডাক্তার তন্ময় এর বিরুদ্ধে এ অভিযোগ থাকলে প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষার্থীরা হোস্টেল সুপারের উপস্থিতিতে তার রুম তল্লাশি করে চুরি যাওয়া মালমাল এর কিছু অংশ জব্দ করে।

সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থীরা এ ঘটনার প্রতিবাদ করলে ডাক্তার জয়ের বাবা শহিদুল ইসলাম এনাম শিক্ষার্থীদের হুমকি প্রদান করেন।উল্লেখ্য ,শহিদুল ইসলাম আওয়ামী লীগের রাজনীতির সাথে জড়িত।তিনি বিগত সরকার এর আমলে বিভিন্ন সময়ে কলেজের শিক্ষকদের নানা প্রকার হুমকি প্রদান করেন।এমনি প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রশাসনিক কর্মকর্তা মশিউর রহমান কে যাত্রাবাড়ির যুবলীগ নেতা মুন্নাকে দিয়ে ইতিপূর্বে হুমকি প্রদান করেন।তাকে তুলে নিয়ে যাওয়ার হুমকি প্রদান করেন শহিদুল ইসলাম ওরফে এনাম।

একদিকে শিক্ষার্থীদের মালামাল চুরি করে তাদের বিরুদ্ধ মিথ্যা মামলার ভয় দেখানো তে সাধারন শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে আতঙ্ক বিরাজ করছে।এ ব্যাপারে শিক্ষার্থীরা কলেজের কর্তৃপক্ষকে প্রমান সহ লিখিত অভিযোগ প্রদান করলে ও ডাক্তার জয়ের বাবা কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষকে নানা রকম হুমকি প্রদান করে বিচারকার্য বাধা প্রদান করেন।

এমতাবস্থায় সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে চরম আতঙ্ক বিরাজ করছে।২৪ পরবর্তী বাংলাদেশে একজন আওয়ামীলীগ নেতার এমন প্রভাবের উৎস কি?

ডাক্তার জয় ও তার পরিবার নীতি-নৈতিকতা বর্জিত মানুষ।এমন মানুষ ডাক্তার হওয়ার কোন যোগ্যতা রাখে না।আমরা তার বিরুদ্ধে দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তিপ্রদানের দাবি জানাই।

The keynote speaker was the college principal, the distinguished orthopedic surgeon Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman Dulal along with one of the finest presenter Asso.Prof. Dr.Mahmudur Rahman Imrul. Educators and students from all levels participated in the event, enjoying a lively and instructive learning environment.
