Training on Emotion Regulation: Applying DBT Skills in Professional Practice
𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
This training offers mental health and allied professionals an in-depth exploration of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Emotion Regulation skills. Participants will learn evidence-based techniques to help clients understand, manage, and transform their emotional experiences. Through theory, case studies, and practical skill-building exercises, attendees will gain tools to integrate directly into clinical and professional practice.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Explain the biosocial model of emotion dysregulation in DBT.
- Teach clients to identify, label, and validate emotions.
- Apply specific tools to reduce vulnerability to intense emotions.
- Use Opposite Action and Problem Solving strategies effectively.
- Facilitate mindfulness-based practices for emotional acceptance and resilience.
