অনেক নারীই হঠাৎ পেটের ব্যথা বা অনিয়মিত মাসিককে সাধারণ সমস্যা মনে করে অবহেলা করেন। কিন্তু এগুলো হতে পারে পলিসিস্টিক ওভারি সিনড্রোম (PCOS)-এর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ লক্ষণ।
সময়মতো চিকিৎসা না নিলে PCOS থেকে হতে পারে হরমোনজনিত ভারসাম্যহীনতা, বন্ধ্যাত্ব, ওজন বৃদ্ধি এবং আরও নানা জটিলতা। তাই উপসর্গ দেখা দিলে দেরি না করে বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাঃ আফসারী আহমদ-এর পরামর্শ নেওয়া জরুরি।
