𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰
We are seeking a Customer Relationship Manager/Key Account Manager to lead relationship management for our freight forwarding clients. This role demands an experienced logistics professional who understands international freight operations (Air, Ocean, and Road), values service excellence, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will play a key role in retaining strategic accounts, resolving complex issues, and identifying growth opportunities.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
1. Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact, conducting regular meetings and business reviews with clients.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships while addressing client concerns and resolving issues.
3. Business Development: Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
4. Shipment Coordination: Coordinate Air, Ocean, and Road shipments with shippers, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring timely updates.
5. Performance Analysis: Prepare performance reports and analyze client metrics to improve satisfaction and retention.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
2. 4–6 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in client-facing or operations roles.
3. Strong understanding of global shipping processes, Incoterms, customs documentation, and international logistics.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
1. Experience with customs clearance, bonded warehousing, or last-mile delivery.
2. Exposure to RFI/RFQ processes, SOP creation, and key account onboarding.
3. Familiarity with KPI-led service delivery and contract logistics.
