Our Story
The Company was originally formed as Organon (Pakistan) Limited in 1963 as a subsidiary of Organon Holding BV, The Netherlands. After independence, it was incorporated in 1973 as Organon (Bangladesh) Limited as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1913 to manage the operations in Bangladesh. In 2006, Organon Holding BV, The Netherlands divested its shares in Organon (Bangladesh) Limited to the local management and accordingly the name of the company was changed to Nuvista Pharma Limited which was approved by the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms on 29 November 2006. The Company was converted into a public limited company in 2011. On April 2, 2018, Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited (BPL), a public limited company listed with Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges of Bangladesh and AIM of London Stock Exchange, acquired majority shareholdings in Nuvista Pharma Limited (NPL). BPL through this acquisition became the immediate and ultimate parent of the company. Current shareholding comprises 85.22% by BPL, 12.92% by Government of Bangladesh and rest by other local shareholders.
