We NEWAGE APPARELS LIMITED are committed to the Science Based Targets Initiatives (SBTi).
• We have set a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target covering our own Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 1 & 2 emissions in line with the latest criteria and recommendations of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) which supports the ambition of the Paris Agreement in limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels;
• Contracted Tier 1 manufacturing sites used to manufacture Primark product have set near-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets covering their own operations (the facility’s Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 1 & 2 emissions), in line with the latest criteria and recommendations of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi);
• Contracted Tier 2 manufacturing sites used to manufacture Primark product have set near-term GHG emissions reduction targets covering their own operations (the facility’s Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 1 & 2 emissions), in line with the latest criteria and recommendations of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
