স্টেম সেল হল এক বিশেষ ধরনের কোষ যা প্রয়োজনে রুপান্তরিত হয়ে দেহের বিভিন্ন ধরনের কোষে পরিনত হতে পারে । বর্তমানে স্টেম ব্যাবহার করে দেহের বিভিন্ন রোগাক্রান্ত ও ক্ষয় প্রাপ্ত অংঙ্গের কোষ ও কলার পরিবর্তন সম্ভব হচ্ছে ।
