🧠 Strengthening Mental Health Care through WHO mhGAP Supervision 🌍

I’m currently undergoing clinical supervision under a WHO-certified trainer as part of the mhGAP (Mental Health Gap Action Programme) Training — a key step in enhancing my capacity to deliver quality mental health care in primary and community health settings.

This hands-on supervision focuses on applying the mhGAP Intervention Guide (mhGAP-IG) to assess and manage priority mental, neurological, and substance use (MNS) disorders, including:

Depression and anxiety

Psychosis

Epilepsy

Substance use

Su***de prevention

Child and adolescent mental health

💬 Supervision provides a safe, supportive space for reflection, skills enhancement, and improving clinical decision-making — ensuring that evidence-based interventions reach those who need them most, even in low-resource settings.

Mental health is health — and I’m committed to being part of the solution by building practical, community-centered mental health services.
