Biomedical science:
Biomedical Science is the broad area of science that involves the investigation of the biological process and the causes of disease through careful experimentation, observation, laboratory work, analysis, and testing. Scientists expand this knowledge base to discover ways to prevent ill-health, and to develop beneficial products, medications, and procedures to treat and cure di

seases and conditions that cause illness and death in us, our families and friends, our pets, farm animals, and wildlife. Biomedical research requires the input and participation of many individuals from both the life and physical sciences, with many different backgrounds and skills. Such a research team might include medical doctors, veterinarians, computer scientists, engineers, technicians, researchers, and a variety of scientists from the different fields of the life sciences. Personalized cancer medicine, Genomics and Preventive medicine are emerging practice of medicine that uses an individual's genetic profile to guide decisions made in regard to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide. Scope and Importance:

Biomedical Science is the pursuit of answers to medical questions. These investigations lead to discoveries, which in turn lead to the development of new preventions, therapies and cures for human and veterinary health. Biomedical research generally takes two forms: basic science and applied research. Basic biomedical Science is the quest for knowledge about how organisms and pathogens function. The applicability of these studies to human health may not always be immediately obvious. For example, one might question the purpose of determining the precise molecular structure of the vitamin folic acid. However, it was this type of investigation that led directly to the synthesis of the first successful anti-leukemia drugs during the 1950s and 1960s. Used in combination, these medicines halved the death rate for leukemia, which had been the second greatest killer of children during the mid-20th century. Market Analysis:

Market analysis would be used, rather than direct examination of the gene, for several reasons: 1. The gene location is known, but the gene sequence has not yet been determined and thus cannot be analyzed directly. But if markers exist close to the gene locus, then the mutant gene can be inferred through marker analysis. 2. Marker analysis is much faster analysis then directs gene sequencing. 3. Marker analysis is much cheaper then gene analysis. Marker analysis can generally be performed for under $200, while a complete screen of a gene can be several thousand dollars. Biomedical engineering - Historically, the biggest developments are related to imaging (fMRI, PET, electron microscopes) and prosthetics (pacemakers, cochlear implants). It is physics-heavy engineering applied to medicine. The idea is to make machines interact with organisms. Unlike biotech, the end goal of BME technology is for use with humans and usually involves medical applications, though the military is sometimes interested as well. Biotechnology - Historically, the biggest successes under this field are related to vaccines, agriculture, cloning, bio-fuels, industrial enzymes, and drugs. You are working with DNA, tissues, micro-organisms, viruses, and complex proteins. The idea is to harness biological processes to work for you. There is less of a physics-machinery connotation when compared to BME, and medicine is not necessary involved. Some universities will categorize all medical biotech as BME. Biomedical science - This is distinct from the other two in that it is science while the other two are engineering. Whereas biomedical engineers emphasize the creation of new technology, biomedical scientists focus on advancing the theoretical knowledge that enables biomedical engineers and the people who use biomedical technology to do their jobs.
