স্বনামধন্য শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান, জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের 'Team Air Benders' UNDP বাংলাদেশ-এর সহযোগিতায় বায়ু দূষণ প্রতিরোধ ক্যাম্পেইন Campaign Breathe for Change এর প্রচারণার অংশ হিসেবে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি জেলায় আমাদের বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচির জন্য ১৫টি গাছ অনুদানের মাধ্যমে সহযোগিতা করেছে।

এই উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে আমরা আমাদের পরিবেশকে আরও সবুজ এবং পরিচ্ছন্ন করতে চাই।

প্রতিটি গাছ আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের জন্য একটি সুস্থ ও সুন্দর পৃথিবী গড়ে তোলার পথে একটি পদক্ষেপ।

আসুন, আমরা সবাই মিলে এ উদ্যোগকে সফল করে তুলি এবং আমাদের পরিবেশের জন্য একটি ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন নিয়ে আসি।

🚀 Team Air Bender's Workshop Success! 🚀

On June 9, 2024, we hosted an insightful workshop titled "Breathing Easy: Understanding and Combating Air Pollution in Bangladesh" at the inaugural episode of "BGN Talks" hosted by the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre (BYLC) at their headquarters in Mohakhali, Dhaka, as part of our campaign "Breathe for Change".

💡 Workshop Highlights:
1. Understanding Air Pollution: We delved into the sources and types of air pollution, including harmful particulate matter (PM2.5), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and the overall impact on air quality.

2. Health Impacts: Discussed the severe health consequences of air pollution, including asthma, lung cancer, and heart diseases.

3. Carbon Footprint Calculation: Engaged participants in calculating their personal carbon footprints to understand their impact on the environment.

4. Solutions and Actions: Explored practical ways to reduce air pollution, such as using public transport, reducing energy consumption, and planting more trees.

🌍 Interactive Activities:
- Group Discussions: Participants brainstormed on responsibilities and actions at personal, community, national, and global levels to combat air pollution.
- Future Predictions: Imagined the impacts of climate change in 2050 and discussed adaptive strategies.
