Open fracture Tibia with segmental bone loss, Initially treated in other center with debridement, ex fix and flap. Later treated in my center with Ipsilateral Vascularized Fibular Transport (IVFT). Recovery time is very short. Now patient is allowed to walk with supportive brace.

Another long segment bone transport with cable and pulley.
The advantages are:
# No Ugly soft tissue deformity occurs.
# No skin ulceration during transport
# no chance of skin impingement.
# Bone passes smoothly under the skin without any pain.
# Patient only have to turn only two nuts instead of eight nuts, when transport is done with rings.
# No chance of mismatch at docking site. Because cable will ultimately pull the bone toward the docking site.

Lengthening of femur. Distraction done over a nail with ilizarov and after completion of lengthening, a longer nail has been inserted. Reduces the frame wearing time and stiffness of knee joint.
