To***co is the largest cause of preventable death in the Western world. Education Against To***co (EAT) is a multinational network driven by medical students and physicians of more than 40 medical schools located in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Sudan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pakistan, Uruguay and the US. Founded in 2012, our mission is to support informed-decision-making of 10-16 year old adolescents by the help of school-based prevention, to educate the public by app-based campaigns and to improve smoking cessation counseling by influencing medical education. Harvard faculty including the NEJM Editor-in-Chief validate the quality of our interventions and facilitate the local implementation of the EAT program. Numbers:

48 participating medical schools;

920 volunteering medical students;

16.000 educated secondary school students in 2014;

5.000.000 viewers outreach of TV reports on the Smokerface App,

400.000 morphed faces and 70.000 installations of our Smokerface App;

7 medical schools implemented novel teaching courses for smoking cessation counseling due to EAT.
